Deadpool 2: A Sequel That Will Make You Laugh!

If you enjoyed the original "Deadpool," you will probably like this sequel, too.  It's primarily a comedy rather than an action movie.  The laughs come at a fast pace, and some of the lines are very clever.  Ryan Reynolds is perfect for the role. This sequel is almost as good as the original. The plot (or what passes for one) really isn't important – the plot serves primarily to set up the punch lines.  The essence of the plot is that "Deadpool" (a.k.a. Wade Wilson – Ryan Reynolds) is seriously depressed due to a tragedy.  Deadpool, for some reason that wasn't clear to me, identifies and wants to protect a rather dangerous and obnoxious teenager with super-powers, "Firefist" (Julian Dennison).  Nathan Summers, a.k.a. Cable (Josh Brolin), has traveled from the future and wants to kill "Firefist."  Cable went back in time to prevent "Firefist" from growing up and eventually killing his wife and kids!  This sets up a conflict between Deadpool and Cable, but the conflict expands and soon involves other X-Men members, as well. There's plenty of fighting, good special effects, and even some spiritual aspects too!  Robin and Noah both really enjoyed it. Come on in to the Dead-'pool,' the water's fine!  (And warm!  But don't ask why, haha!)
